My Background

Communications has always been at the center of my work.

For seven years, I worked as a television news producer in Indiana. Before joining WRTV6, I got my start at WLFI, my hometown TV station. During that time, I produced hundreds of hours of live television, helping audience navigate everything from the COVID-19 pandemic, severe weather, breaking news, the economy, public policy and community events. Each day required balancing accuracy, speed and clarity while coordinating with reporters, anchors, meteorologists, photographers and newsroom leadership to deliver information people could trust. Whether covering breaking news or helping organizations tell their stories, I’m driven by the opportunity to connect people with information that matters.

That experience taught me far more than how to produce a newscast. It strengthened my skills in strategic storytelling, content development, project management, stakeholder collaboration and communicating complex information under tight deadlines. No matter the subject, I learned that effective communication begins with understanding an audience’s needs and delivering with clarity and credibility.

Today, I’m eager to bring those same skills to organizations beyond broadcast journalism. While my passion for the field never faded, I’m also excited about helping non-news organizations communicate with purpose, strengthen relationships with their audiences and tell stories that build trust. My interests include corporate communications, healthcare communications, higher education, nonprofit organizations and public affairs. Outside of work, I’m continually exploring the evolving role of communication in society, studying how organizations build trust, engage communities and navigate change. I enjoy writing, lifelong learning and finding better ways to translate complex ideas into stories that inform, connect and inspire. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. I hope my work demonstrates not only what I’ve accomplished, but how I approach communication, collaboration and problem solving. If you’d like to connect or discuss opportunities, I would love to hear from you.
